We are the final week leading up to the big event! 

We still have a few raffle tickets to be sold, which Bridie & Tara are working hard to sell...

We are just short of $187.00 to reach our target of $2000! If you haven't already and would like to help raise a little extra cash get your friends, family & even mates to donate any spare cash they might have...

 

A FEW tips if you’re joining us down at the track on the weekend!

 

- Emma is bringing the team Tent. We are campsite 38 D. Map attached. (Same as previous years)

- Emma will have an air mattress

- There is a MISS Relay competition… whoever is game, can do it!! Details below

- Any1 which is registered under our team will receive a complimentary breakfast on SUNDAY morning.

- If you are Cancer survivor, you can register & participate in the first lap with all the survivors & carers!!

- Sorry no PETS/Bikes/scooters

- DRESS FOR ALL SEASONS – relay will go ahead regardless of the weather.

- Brings food & drinks & snacks if you wish, however there are food & drinks at the track for the full 24 hrs

- If you’re staying, please bring a sleeping bag & pillow (not that much sleeping actually happens)

- From previous experience, wear your gym/fitness gear as its most comfortable & prevents injuries!

- If you want to complete a marathon, you must register at the registration tent before 9am…Half and full Marathon participants must hire and wear a timing band (ankle bracelet), which will automatically count laps and times. 

- most importantly, come down with a POSITIVE attitude and you will have the best day!!!

If Your Driving to RELAY please note;

Parking and Traffic Plan 2012

To minimise disruption to local traffic, the full length of Belgrave Esplanade from Holt Road to Box Road will be designated ‘NO PARKING - SPECIAL EVENT' from Friday 4th May for the duration of the Relay.

Parking on the grass verges on either side of Belgrave Esplanade is not permitted.

Miss Relay has been a signature event at Relays all over NSW. Each team nominates a male or female from the team to dress up in drag all in the name of charity, and the winner will be crowned Miss Relay!

How it works:

Nominate your team representative; pick out your best frock and come to the event prepared! Each contestant will be introduced and given a donation box with which they will do a few laps on the track. Participants 'vote' for their favourite Miss Relay by donating to the one they like best- and the one with the most money raised will be crowned Miss Relay!

You will need to bring our own costume to wear so be prepared. Stay tuned for the event programme to find out exactly what time Miss Relay will take place.

I am doing relay for life again this year, we are walking & running for 24 hrs..

our fundraiser this year is BREAKFAST THE CONAGHAN WAY!

I will have everything from bacon & egg rolls to fruit salad and delicious treats... and of course tea, coffee, juices & BUBBLES for those who wish to have a Champagne breaky!!!
