Well we have all finished with the relay for life for this year. A big success all around. Thank you to all our team. As you can see we came third in the fund- raising which I think is fantastic. Also we were given an award for having the most walkers on the ground at ?4am. I am ashamed to admit that I wasn't one of them. Once again thanks to you all.

Last updated: March 21stAny Ideas

I am wondering if any-one has any ideas how we can decorate our tent. Please let me know if you have. I thought may-be we should give land mark a plug since they gave us such a big donation. (Lots of green streamers) Any other thoughts? The last one hundred dollars I banked was a donation from Betty. A big thank you from our team.

Last updated: March 20thFour New Members

Welcome to our four new members - Chris, Art, Josh and Betty. At the last meeting we received another award and this one is platinum. Great work, sock. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday afternoon. Don't forget to bring the mossie spray.

Last updated: March 16thTwo Thousand Dollars

Landmark has matched an anonymous farmer, dollar for dollar, and between them they have donated $2.000 to our team. A very big thank you for such a generous donation and a very big thank you to Geoff for his organisation of this. We are now third on the ladder!

Last updated: March 16thChris Letton's Morning Tea

The morning tea was a great success both financially and socially. We banked $300 from this event. The hundred club was drawn and won by Pauline Serdity, 2nd Denni Dwyer and 3rd David Wass. The raffle was also drawn and won by Betty VanKoll, Barry Bond and Ken Cole. A big thank you to Chris and every-one who helped.

Last updated: March 4thMorning Tea

Our next fund raiser is a morning tea at Chris Letton's abode on the 12th of this month. We have a back-up venue of the Church of England hall in Lawson Street if it is too wet. As I am writing this it is pouring so it could be the hall. We plan on drawing the raffle (Dressed sheep, doll and pamper pack) on this day. Should any-one need a lift please let me know. See you all there.

Last updated: February 21stTaxi Service

Last updated: February 12thStreet Stall

A big thank you to all the people who made our street stall such a great success. I could not believe the amount of goodies that were donated. I banked over a thousand dollars on  Friday. This included a hundred dollars from the sub-division of the RSL club. Thanks Barney. Also included was a hundred dollars from the quilt raffle. Thanks Di and Robyn. Also included was seventy dollars from the morning tea at the MPHS. Thanks Cynthia, Jeanie, Tuppy, Chris and anyone else who helped with this. Winners of the two hundred clubs were First-David Wass and Jade Wilson, Second-Angie Fenton and Sheryl Trudgett and Third-Liz Tetley and Tara Walker. Once again, many thanks to you all. Welcome to new member, Maree. You will have to show Carol how to join. Well, there I was thinking the Spar Girls were a threat and along came Team Rose and got in front of us. I think we just might have to be happy with fourth or fifth!

Last updated: October 5thHelp me make a difference

Cancer Council's Relay For Life is coming to our community and I'm taking part. That's right - I'm taking to the track and being proactive in the fight against cancer.

Did you know that Cancer Council is Australia's leading cancer charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Cancer Council's groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer has saved thousands of lives?

But statistics show that one in two of us will still get cancer at some point and Cancer Council's vital work, funded entirely by the public, will help ensure that thousands more people will survive.

So please help make a difference.
