Corporate Teams Program

"Such an awe-inspiring event...
We were proud to be a part of it" - The GT Allstars 2009

Relay For Life is a unique way to bring your corporate team together and give back to the community.

National Corporate Teams Program

The Relay For Life 'National Corporate Teams Program' is an initiative designed to recognise, support and develop corporate involvement in Relay For Life nationwide.

Relay for Life is the Cancer Council's biggest national event raising almost $16 million in 2009. The key to the success of Relay For Life is in the strength of the community. The unifying effort of raising money for a cause bonds the corporate community with employees, businesses with their consumers, school teachers with parents and students, and local government with the public. The event serves as a great equalizer and provides the rare opportunity to build real community spirit.

All money raised by Corporate Teams will go towards supporting the Cancer Council NSW's fight against cancer through critical research, support services and cancer prevention.

Relay For Life participation will benefit your organisation by:

  • Engaging staff and management in a positive experience together
  • Helping to build morale and team spirit
  • Creating opportunities for client participation through support of your organisations' team effort
  • Provide a memorable and meaningful experience for employees
  • Provide a cathartic opportunity for staff who have been directly touched by cancer
  • Provide a tangible contribution towards the fight against cancer
  • Align with a highly reputable charity and event
  • Cement a positive community culture in organisation
  • Integrated employee families into the organisations' community
  • Streamline community and staff engagement efforts and consolidate fundraising activities
